About Abbottabad Tailoring

Tailoring with a new purpose

We reshape garments with careful fitting, clear communication, and practical design choices. Every project starts with an assessment of the fabric, construction, and the result you want.

Abbottabad Tailoring focuses on tailoring and clothing alterations with a special interest in remodelling and upcycling. We work on garments that need a better fit, a new shape, or a fresh purpose.

From vintage pieces to sentimental clothing, our process is built around honest advice and considered workmanship. We explain what can be changed, what the fabric can support, and how the final result will be approached.

Our story

A studio shaped by reuse

Built in Abbottabad for customers who want garments to last longer, fit better, and feel more personal.

Abbottabad Tailoring began in 2019 with a simple idea: useful clothing should not be discarded too quickly. A well-planned alteration or redesign can give a garment more wear and a better fit.

Our work includes redesign consultations, dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Each project is reviewed for fabric condition, construction, and design limits before work begins.

We keep the process clear from the first inquiry to collection. That means discussing scope, confirming the concept, approving the work, and reviewing the fit or finish before completion.

What we value

How we work

Practical tailoring, honest planning, and garment reuse guide every project we take on.

1

Careful assessment

We start with the garment itself. Fabric condition, seam allowances, and construction details guide what can be altered or redesigned with confidence.

2

Clear scope

Our quotes are based on inspection, not guesswork. We confirm the scope before work begins and ask for approval before any additional work is added.

3

Thoughtful finishing

When available, we aim to match original thread and trim so the finished piece feels consistent with the garment's character and construction.

4

Responsible remodelling

We work to reuse strong parts of the original garment wherever possible, while staying realistic about what the existing material can support.
